at the service of the Church and the world of our time"

The new general superiors of our Institute were elected with the task of animating the life and action of all the members for the period between 2008-2014.  They will lead us  answering in an adequate and valid way to the needs of the Church and our society by taking into consideration the developments of our time addressed to the future times. In this way our Institute continuesto give a qualified service for mankind.

The sisters who were elected to the General Governance are:


Sr Carmen Cimarolli (Italy)  General Superior;
Sr Marilene Legramenti (Brazil) General Vicaress;
Sr Loredana Tiraboschi (Italy) General Councillor;
Sr Angelica Ghiorghis (Eritrea) General Councillor;
Sr Mercedes Donato (Peru) General Councillor;

Soon after the election, all the sisters proceeded the sisters proceeded to the chapel for a time of prayer and thanksgiving.


At the end of the Te Deum, Mother Gabriella consigned to Mother Carmen some symbols, as a sign of continuity in the service of the governance which was being laid on her.


* the cloak, symbol of the charism, gift of the Spirit
* the candle, real light of the Risen Christ
* the constitutions, our rule of life which is to be incarnated in our daily life on the example of Mother Frances
* the icon of Mary, model of maternity and of acceptance, symbol of self giving

"May Jesus accompany our steps with a particular grace that may render us among peoples
as true apostles of grace and salvation" (Lett. Mother Frances 73)

We wish our sisters in the general governance our heartfelt wishes of joy and communion!
